Apply for government funding

Government Student Financial Aid is a way to help fund your university education. The Federal Government’s website, CanLearn.ca offers an overview of education planning for students within and outside of Ontario.

Ontario Students:

We strongly recommend that you apply for OSAP, even if you think that you will not receive funding. You should apply for OSAP at https://www.ontario.ca/osap as soon as the application becomes available. It generally takes 4-6 weeks for OSAP applications to be processed.

All students should apply by June 30, 2017 for funding for September 2017.

OSAP applications generally take 4-6 weeks to process.

Once you have completed the above steps, be sure to keep checking your Western e-mail, as this is our preferred method of communication with our students.  We look forward to seeing you in September 2017!
